How to Deactivate Your Holidu Account & What Happens Next
We’re sorry to hear that you’re considering deactivating your Holidu account, but we’ve made the process as simple as possible. Here’s how you can deactivate your account:
- Log into your Holidu account: Log in for hosts
- Go to the Property section.
- Navigate to the Configuration tab on the left-hand side.
- Scroll down to the bottom left-hand side and click on Advanced Settings.
- In the Advanced Settings section, click on Unpublish.
- Choose a reason for closing your ad and click Unpublish to confirm.
To make sure your property is not available for bookings in the meantime, we recommend manually blocking the calendar as well.

What Happens to Your Information After Deactivation
Even after you deactivate your account, Holidu may still need to process certain data related to bookings made through our platform. This is necessary in order to:
- Fulfil legal obligations.
- Manage active reservations or check-ins.
- Address any potential complaints about a booking.
Once your property is unpublished, it will no longer be visible on distribution channels, and it won’t be available for new bookings. However, you will still be able to log in and view all your account information.
Note: Hosts are responsible for unpublishing their own property by following the steps outlined above.
