The location offers numerous leisure opportunities all year round: well-marked hiking and cycling trails, mountain bike routes as well as winter sports with several lifts, cross-country ski trails, prepared winter hiking trails, toboggan run, snow tubing park and snowshoe hiking.
Many restaurants invite you to take a break and Bernau is an ideal starting point to explore the Southern Black Forest Nature Park on foot, by car or by public transport.
