An ancient space reborn from its own ashes, where millennia-old stone roots meet a modern, ethereal, and rebellious spirit.
Located in the historic Stampace district on Via Santa Restituta, Fallen Angel Cave is a manifesto of contemporary underground architecture: a designer suite-cave carved from Cagliari’s limestone, reminiscent of ancient quarries, crypts, and cellars, now transformed into a luxury residence.
Not a building constructed above ground, but a space carved from the rock itself, just steps from significant archaeological and religious sites. Style.
Exposed raw stone: walls and vaulted ceilings in living rock, with irregular textures and excavation marks, take center stage.
Ethereal, clean design: minimalist, contemporary, and light furnishings.
Dramatic lighting: custom-designed lights caress the stone, creating soft contrasts and intimate, almost meditative atmospheres. Microclimate.
The porous limestone naturally absorbs and releases humidity.
The cave’s mass shields you from summer heat and retains warmth in winter.
