Treat yourselves to a timeless escape in this authentic 18th-century dovecote, fully renovated in 2025 with high-end amenities that blend historic charm and modern comfort.
This 20 m² retreat, perfect for two guests, enchants with its stonework, countryside tranquility, and proximity to Futuroscope (20 min), La Roche-Posay (15 min), Loire castles, and Beauval Zoo (1 hr). Overlooking the valley less than 5 minutes from Châtellerault, it offers stunning sunsets and open views.
Upon arrival, discover an open-plan kitchen equipped with a coffee machine and a counter dining area—ideal for breakfast or a cozy dinner.
The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, vanity, and wall-mounted toilet.
The bedroom, accessed by a spiral staircase about 60 cm wide, immerses you in the dovecote’s history with preserved stone pigeon niches.
Air conditioning and heating ensure comfort year-round.
Enjoy panoramic valley views. Enter through a glass door onto your private terrace, furnished with a table, chairs, and outdoor lounge—perfect for sunny days. At the back, a private jacuzzi area with loungers invites you to relax in a peaceful, green setting. The dovecote and its private spaces are entirely yours.
