Located in Bouin, a former island in the Gulf of Machecoul connected to the mainland in the early 19th century, you’ll discover unique homes, charming alleys, a remarkable church, and local ports. Enjoy beaches just 15 km away (Pornic, Barbâtre, Les Moutiers en Retz, Fromentine), explore the islands of Noirmoutier and Yeu, and experience the beauty of the region. Don’t miss the Passage du Gois (check tide times), a must-see local curiosity. If you prefer cycling, numerous bike paths wind through the salt marshes, where you can observe wildlife, discover small fishing ports, and admire a striking 4 km-long dyke. Take a boat trip to the island of Yeu or go canoeing nearby. Taste fresh oysters or buy them from the vending machine, and enjoy views of the wind farm. Bed linen, towels, and kitchen cloths are included for your comfort.
