Charming studio apartment for two, renovated and located in a period building near Porta Ovile, one of the most convenient access points to the medieval heart of Siena.
Its strategic location allows you to reach Piazza del Campo in about a 10-minute walk, fully experiencing the authentic atmosphere of the historic center.
This apartment connects to a second studio apartment, offering the possibility of creating a single apartment sleeping up to seven, perfect for groups or large families. The 25 sq m apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic building and features the following: - KITCHENETTE with a snack bar and stools, equipped with an induction hob, mini fridge with a small freezer compartment, moka pot, electric kettle, toaster, and microwave; - SLEEPING AREA with a double bed, split air conditioning, TV, and walk-in closet; - BATHROOM with a shower, sink, and toilet with a hand shower. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: Unlimited WIFI, heat pump heating, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack, and hairdryer. OTHER THINGS TO KNOW: - Please note that there are three steps inside the apartment and a low step at the entrance to the building. - The apartment is located just before the ZTL (limited traffic zone), so be careful if you're driving.
The building can be reached by car for loading and unloading luggage. To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal. We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy. You can find all the information on the official website alloggiatiweb.poliziadistato Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383/6.10.2022). Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings. Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard. Siena Climatic Zone D: 11 hours a day from November 8th to April 7th. Self check-in will take place in this accomodation.
It is MANDATORY to complete the registration in order to receive instructions to collect the keys and access the apartment. The keys can be collected for free via smartlock on site. In case of problem, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 12am. The apartment is located in the heart of Siena's beautiful medieval historic center (limited traffic zone), in a quiet and convenient area close to all major amenities, including bars, supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies.
The property is just steps from the city's main attractions, including Piazza del Campo, considered one of the most beautiful in the world and home to the famous Palio horse race held twice a year; the extraordinary Duomo with its Baptistery; the Palazzo Pubblico; the extraordinary Torre del Mangia, which offers breathtaking views of the city; and the Pinacoteca Nazionale (National Art Gallery). In the Siena area, it's worth exploring the Chianti, Val d'Elsa, and Crete Senesi regions, offering gastronomic delights and extraordinary landscapes.
