Sheep and cattle farmers (family farm nearby), Roselyne & Patrice open the doors of a charming, authentic 19th-century village house, carefully restored, nestled on the edge of a lane (opposite the "Corsin Hospital"), in the very heart of a picturesque little "postcard" shopping village, perfectly preserved (with a large supermarket and many small shops and services), 5 km from Saint-Point, home to a lake equipped for swimming and the renowned family castle of Alphonse de Lamartine and his tomb (illustrious French romantic poet, novelist and politician born in the "country"). Just a stone's throw from the magnificent rolling countryside (protected as a Natura 2000 and ZNIEFF site for its rich flora and fauna), this sublime, unspoiled landscape combines bucolic hedgerows and deep, wild forests, nestled in a verdant valley against the wooded foothills of a vast, untamed forest massif.
Near the first vineyards, at the foot of the "Signal de la Mère Boitier," the highest point in the Mâconnais region at 702m (a unique viewpoint offering a 360° panoramic view extending to Mont Blanc on a clear day). The cottage offers exceptional comfort.
Its warm character blends a "country chic" ambiance, a carefully curated "antique" feel, and contemporary touches, enhanced by the elegant original stone fireplace.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce gîte plein de charme (cheminée en pierres), au milieu d'un village calme et typique. Il y a plein de choses à faire dans les environs (Cluny, Mâcon, Charolles...) ainsi que de belles balades (dommage que le temps n'ait pas été au RDV durant ce séjour). Peu...
