The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, close to Castelnaud Castle, local shops, many restaurants both at the top and bottom of the village, the Dordogne river and its beach, the canoe and kayak rental center, hiking trails, a pétanque court just behind the bakery, and bike rentals. This family-friendly home is just 200 meters from all amenities: a well-stocked mini-market, butcher and deli, bakery, hair salon, several restaurants, a post office with ATM, a large free car park 500 meters from the house with electric vehicle charging, and a second blue zone parking area. The house is quiet and has its own free private parking for one vehicle right at the entrance.
Ideally located in the "Golden Triangle," it sits at the heart of the five iconic castles of the Périgord Noir and is close to remarkable sites like Sarlat (10 minutes away), Rocamadour, the Padirac Chasm, the Lascaux caves, and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, all about an hour’s drive. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Thierry qui malgré qu'il était très occupé a pris le temps de nous donner toutes les informations nécessaire pour notre séjour. La maison fort agréable et typique ainsi que son confort.
Il ne manquait pas grand chose et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous.
Le dép...
Rien...même la voisine était charmante !
