The Space - Studio-style layout with a comfy double bed and calming interiors - Wood-burning stove, underfloor heating, and a star-lit ceiling for cosy nights in - Compact kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and essentials - Ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, fluffy towels, and heated towel rail - No WiFi – ideal for a digital detox and switching off completely Outdoor Space - Private wood-fired hot tub overlooking the lake – perfect for stargazing - Hammock, picnic bench, and fire pit for lazy afternoons - Shared summer house “The Duck Inn” with cosy seating and hammocks Wellness Extras Book treatments at The Vale Retreat just steps away: massages, facials, hot stone therapy, and Reiki (pre-booking recommended). The place was beautiful! The cabin was well stocked and the hot tub was made private by the wooden boards, the cabin was clean and care has been taken to make good use of the space. £20 seemed steep for a birthday package (5 small balloons on the bed and a prosecco in the fridge). I thought there might be a banner, as advertised, or treats, however, I understand if chocolates aren't an option for dietary requirements etc. Also, it seemed as if the host 'gave up' on decorating t...

Lovely getaway, very reasonable price, most places like that with a hot tub would be 50-100% more, nice touch that some firewood was included (maybe one tubs worth) very peaceful and quaint. We loved the ducks and I’m sure if u went in summer the duck inn would have been very nice aswell as the hammocks.

Such a lovely place to stay! Chris was so helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home! Beautiful location, even without a car, we enjoyed our stay - especially the walk to the pub in the next village. Will be looking to rebook sometime.
