Winegrower & "farmer" by passion (designed in the spirit of a "micro farm", the property is home to llamas, sheep, donkeys, horses, a farmyard with swans & free-roaming rabbits!), Yves-Arnaud & his partner Cécile welcome you to authentic, carefully restored 17th century stables, adjoining the sumptuous medieval fortified castle of Salornay built in the 13th century, steeped in great history & perfectly preserved, on a 24 ha wine estate operated using "organic farming" (tastings & sales possible).
In a quiet location, in the heart of the rolling Mâconnais countryside, nestled against the hillside on a vast exposed plateau overlooking the Saône valley, in the hollow of a peaceful rural hamlet.
Lovely preserved rural setting in the heart of the vineyards, mixing bucolic meadows & vast forests, close to all amenities.

Beautiful living room with generous space bathed in light behind a large arched bay window (located on the site of the old carriage entrance).
Intimate enclosed terrace adjoining a vast courtyard (a real "natural" pétanque court) and a pleasant wooded and grassy garden (a non-private space adjoining a covered terrace housing an old wine press).
Possible access to the vast 24-hectare estate (including nearby vineyards) as well as a private fishing pond located 1 km away.

Très bon accueil. Gîte agréable, très propre et très calme. Environnement superbe, magnifique cadre avec le château et son domaine. Les levers de soleil sur le Mont Blanc sont sublimes. De plus, le vin produit au domaine est succulent. Nous reviendrons sans doute.

Gîte attenant au Château de Salornay dans un environnement calme et bucolique (peut-être pas lors de mariages?). Grande pièce de vie et 3 petites chambres, dont une au rez-de-chaussée.Propre et bien équipé pour un séjour agréable dans le Mâconnais et tout près du Beaujolais.

Gite tout confort, au calme à la campagne, dans les dépendances du magnifique Château de Salornay. Situé au cœur du vignoble bourguignon, de ses villages et châteaux, et à 10' du centre historique de Mâcon.
