La Cabaña de Cascajares is a spacious village house located in the heart of Cascajares de la Sierra, a peaceful spot in the Sierra de la Demanda, Burgos province.
It's the perfect place to unwind, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy nature, hiking, and the tranquility of the surroundings. The house is spread over 2 floors and features 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen, and barbecue.
It's ideal for families and groups of friends looking for space, comfort, and an authentic rural experience.
Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), TV, crib, and high chair.
Please note there is no air conditioning. From the house, you can explore some of the most iconic sites in Burgos and the Sierra de la Demanda, such as the Neila Lagoons, the medieval village of Covarrubias, the Monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos, the impressive La Yecla gorge, the famous Sad Hill Cemetery from the film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the historic Monastery of San Pedro de Arlanza, Lerma, Salas de los Infantes, and numerous hiking and cycling trails through forests, mountains, and unique landscapes. Throughout the year, the area offers many ways to enjoy nature, local cuisine, historic heritage, and the charming villages of Burgos. Free street parking is available.
