The chalet is located on the Plateau des Saix (Samoëns 1600), the starting point for the Samoëns ski resort.
It is isolated, on alpine pasture land, 100 m from the road that ends at the Plateau parking lot.
It enjoys a magnificent view over the Arve and Giffre valleys, with Geneva and the Jura mountains in the background.
The sunsets are grandiose... ATTENTION: access to the chalet is on foot for 200m from the parking lot! Sometimes out of season, the access road may be blocked at certain times of the day. The chalet was built in 1969 and we bought it in 2009.
It has been extended and completely renovated.
There are three levels, and the rental part includes the two upper floors which form the former living area.
The surface area is 110 m², with an entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen and toilet on the second floor, and 4 bedrooms, 2 small bathrooms and a toilet on the second floor.
The rental is intended for 10 people, but it is possible to sleep up to 12, as there is a pull-out bed in the living room. The former basement has been converted into a separate apartment for the owners and their dog Sila! HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES Fridge with freezer, electric oven, microwave, 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine. Fondue and raclette machines, filter coffee maker, immersion blender, mixer, toaster, kettle. OTHER EQUIPMENT Full set of cookware, including pressure cooker, iron, hair dryer. Television. Internet access via VDSL box. Dual-energy heating: electric with centralized control and a highly efficient wood-burning insert (wood supplied). A wood-fired barbecue is available on the terrace. Snowshoes and sledges can be used in the ski cupboard under your own responsibility.
