This stone cottage lies 430 a. sea-level, on a sunny spot, completely within nature, at the border of the hamlet of Petrognano.
This independent house disposes of a private panoramic garden and equipped veranda.
La Casa del Sole is the perfect spot, to get to know the lifestyle in Tuscany. Commit yourself to the music of nature and the pleasant warmth of the sun.
The sun gives its best to this angle of paradise in the morning.
There is very well-kept garden at the exclusive use of the guests with fruit trees, different flowers and a veranda, equipped with a table and chairs, wood-burning oven, barbeque, which is located on the backside of the house.
A unique scenario, which accompanies you through long summer evenings, during your dining al fresco under a sky full of stars. Activities: Romantic and relaxing strolls, walk down the hill or up to the hamlet of Petrognano with its church and square from which you have stunning views.
There are different tracks in the surrounding hills for bike lovers on which you may discover the beautiful landscape rich of olive groves, castles, farms. Drive down the ill and visit one the many historic villas or the villages of Segrominio, Matraia or Valgiano.
Admire the spectacular views and try local specialities in one of the many restaurants by the wayside.
You may reach, from Marlia, within 30 minutes, the mountain Pizzorne – a spot with lawn and woods, perfect to refresh yourselves and your children on a hot summer day.
The most important art cities such as Florence, Siena and Pisa are within an easy reach.
The city of Lucca lies in 17 km distance. Entrance on the ground floor: spacious living room with couch, upholstered chairs and Sat-TV, dining table, fireplace (functioning), within 4 steps access to a kitchen with stove (5 flames), oven, microwave, microfilter coffee brewer, fridge-freezer, dishwasher. Stone staircase to the 1st floor: 1 twin bedroom, cupboard, 1 bathroom with basin, hydro-massage tub, bidet, wc, 1 double bedroom, chest of drawers, cupboard, air-conditioning in this room. The whole house ist very tasteful furnished, in county style with bright colours.
The owner collected for some time accessories which give the house a warm and cosy touch.

Luogo meraviglioso, con una vista mozzafiato. La casa è veramente molto ben curata, accogliente e calda. La proprietaria è gentilissima e simpatica. Purtroppo avevamo pochi giorni a disposizione, si spera di poter tornare questa estate. Siamo andati via lasciando il nostro cuore, siamo stati benissimo!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Casa Del Sole. La maison est au calme et bien équipée. La vue est vraiment magnifique. Une ballade sous les pins facilement accessible se trouve sur la route juste au dessus de la maison. Merci pour tout !
