Information about the host
The quiet, central location at the entrance to the village – coming from Chiemsee – makes the house with its two holiday flats an ideal starting point for relaxing and varied holidays. Both flats are partially barrier-free: one is on the ground floor, the other on the first floor and can be easily reached by a stair lift. The bathrooms are not specifically wheelchair accessible, but still offer comfortable freedom of movement. Just a few steps away from the house is the bus stop, from which you can easily reach Chiemsee or the town centre. The train station is about a ten-minute walk away and opens up further excursion possibilities in the region.
A free car park directly at the house ensures a convenient arrival.
Please note that dogs and other pets are unfortunately not allowed in the flats.
Environment description
The surrounding area is ideal for relaxing walks – for example, along the barrier-free nature trail at the moor bathing area, in the idyllic Bärnsee landscape conservation area or to the popular Café Pauli with its cosy beer garden. E-bike tours in the Chiemgau Alps and the surrounding lake district are also available and make your stay particularly varied.
Only 100 metres from the orthopaedic children's clinic and a 10-minute walk to the town centre with various shopping facilities, restaurants, cafés and the train station with connections to Munich and Salzburg. You can use the bus and train free of charge with your guest card.
About the host
You are also welcome to arrive outside the regular check-in times - a key safe is available for our guests at the house.

The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is €2.00 per person/night. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host.
Arrival Description
By car: Take the A8 motorway Munich/Salzburg – exit at Aschau/Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn.
Coming from Frasdorf: drive past the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., continue straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Bernau. Follow the road, cross the railway tracks, and after approx. 50 m in a sharp right-hand bend, turn left into Höhenbergstraße towards Cafe Pauli. The holiday apartment is located approx. 60 m further on the right-hand side.
Coming from Bernau: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., continue straight ahead on Bernauer Straße, after approx. 50 m turn right into Höhenbergstraße - see above.
By train: Munich-Salzburg train connection - from Prien station to Aschau with the Chiemgaubahn railway.
Description of the accommodation
The ground-floor, bright and cosily furnished non-smoking holiday flat offers 40 m² of ideal space to relax. Warm parquet floors and a harmoniously designed living room create a welcoming atmosphere. The open-plan living area has a large dining table with a cosy corner bench and a well-equipped kitchenette with a stove and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, filter coffee machine and kettle. A comfortable pull-out sofa provides additional sleeping space for a third and fourth person. Entertainment is provided by flat-screen satellite TV, radio and free WiFi. The separate bedroom with double bed ensures restful nights, while the bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer and washing machine makes even longer stays comfortable. A special highlight is the large, covered terrace, which invites you to linger at any time of day. Please note that dogs and other pets are unfortunately not allowed in this flat.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in der Ferienwohnung! Die Unterkunft war sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und entsprach genau den Beschreibungen.
Auch die Lage ist top – sehr ruhig, aber dennoch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Der ebenerdige Eingang ist sehr praktisch, die Eckbank mit Tisch groß und stabil, die Couch bequem.
Wir ( 2 Erwachsene ) hatten für die 6 Tage die wir dort verbrachten, nur 2 Handtücher und 2 Badetücher zur Verfügung - kein Handtuchwechsel nach ein paar Tagen, wie es eigentlich üblich ist. Eine Geschirrspülmaschine gab es nicht, was ja nicht schlimm ist, aber dann 1 einziges Geschirrtuch für die ...
