The Domaine de Bellegarde is a stunning 19th-century stately home on a six-acre estate in Soustons, fully restored in 2002. The 2.5-hectare estate, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Lac d'Soustons, is perfect for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and swimming.

The area is known for forests, vineyards, and world-renowned golf courses.

The beach is a 10-minute drive, and the village is within walking distance. The ground floor features a spacious lounge with wood paneling, parquet floors, and a grand oak staircase.

There is a study, sitting room, dining room, billiard room, kitchen, toilet, and washroom, with terraces for alfresco dining.

The TV/reading room has a marble fireplace, sofas, satellite TV, and a selection of DVDs, books, and magazines. The first floor includes a hall with sofas, three large en-suite bedrooms (two with marble fireplaces), and a large suite with two bedrooms, a balcony, a fireplace, a dressing room, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, and a terrace.

The second floor has four large en-suite bedrooms (one with a sauna), all with TVs and DVD players.

Most double beds can be separated into singles, except in one bedroom.

A pool house includes a bar area, fridges, an ice-cream freezer, a toilet, and an outside shower. Additional amenities include a summer kitchen, a cinema room, a jacuzzi, and a tennis court.
