Information about the host
Farm in a quiet, sunny, high-altitude location with fantastic mountain views of the entire mountain range. Our farm is located in the Höhenberg district and we have no through traffic. We rent out two rooms, for all guests there is a breakfast room and lounge with a tiled stove, free Wi-Fi and a guest fridge in the house. We serve a regional breakfast. Our guests have access to a shared balcony, which can be used for smoking, and the opportunity to relax on a sunbathing lawn. Pick-up and drop-off service to Aschau im Chiemgau railway station. By car you are in a few minutes in the village with various shops, restaurants, train station with bus stop and at the Kampenwand cable car. Car park in front of the house. Dogs and pets are not allowed.

Environment description
We are the ideal starting point for many wonderful hikes and walks in the Bärnsee nature reserve. The orthopaedic children's clinic is a 15-minute walk away. The Cafe Pauli with its beer garden is just a few minutes' walk away for a snack or a coffee. The moor bathing area and the swimming area are not far away.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax The prices are exclusive of tourism tax of 2,00 EUR per person/night. For persons from the 7th to the completion of the 16th year of life 1,80 EUR. Children up to the age of 6 years are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax at your host.

Arrival Description
By car: Motorway A8 Munich/Salzburg - exit Aschau / Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn. Coming from Frasdorf: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Rosenheimer Str., past the petrol station, over the bridge, then turn left towards Bernau. Follow the road, over the railway track, past the Orth. In the right-hand bend, turn left in the direction of Höhenberg/Umrathshausen. Follow the road for approx. 1 km, you will pass through the district of Schafelbach, after the housing estate turn right towards Höhenberg. Follow the road to the left in the direction of the chapel, shortly before you reach the "Geigerhof" farm on the left-hand side. Coming from Bernau: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Bernauer Str., after the first farms, in the left-hand bend turn right towards Höhenberg/Umrathshausen. Follow the road for approx. 1 km, you will pass through the district of Schafelbach, after the housing estate turn right towards Höhenberg. Follow the road to the left in the direction of the chapel, shortly before you reach the "Geigerhof" farm on the left-hand side. By train: Munich-Salzburg train connection - from Prien station to Aschau with the Chiemgaubahn - station pick-up and luggage transport.

Description of the accommodation
Cosy, spacious room with double bed and shower/WC. Cosily furnished in Alpine style with wooden floors and a seating area. You are welcome to use our free WLAN and the shared balcony is available for smokers. We serve our regional breakfast in our breakfast room. Dogs and pets are not allowed.
