The Imot region lies behind the Biokovo mountain, in the Dalmatian Zagora. Imotski is a very picturesque town with numerous cafes and restaurants. There is also a large shopping center. The most important monuments are the old Topan fortress. Below Topana is the Blue Lake, a favorite promenade, and in the summer months, the main beach in Imotski. In the immediate vicinity (1.5 km) is Crveno jezero, the deepest karst lake in Europe with a depth of 528 meters. We suggest you visit the red and blue lakes because they are truly natural wonders. There are wine roads where you can enjoy tasting high-quality and award-winning wines or tasting the first Dalmatian sparkling wine.
