The most beautiful ski resorts in the region, such as Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz, are barely 25 km away (30 mins by car). Restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Menthon St Bernard (L'unexpected, the confidential, the chalet du port, the Palace...). In August the lake festival in Annecy and its fireworks, world famous pyrotechnic show in Talloires and even the famous 'sound and light' shows of the castle of Menthon St Bernard in summer.
