Tucked away amongst a cluster of trees in the heart of Mid Wales, The Fox Den Cabin offers a charming and cleverly designed retreat for families seeking a cosy escape to nature. Compact yet surprisingly spacious, this unique little pod makes the most of every inch, creating a comfortable and practical home-from-home for up to four guests.
The Fox Den is ideal for relaxed family breaks. While the adults kick back with a book or enjoy the peaceful scenery, children can safely play in the private fenced area that surrounds the cabin. Inside, you’ll find two inviting sofas—one with built-in storage that converts into a single bed, and the other a smart, pull-down design that reveals a hidden bed when night falls. There’s also a high-level child’s bunk with a removable ladder, adding an extra layer of fun for younger guests.
The interior is cleverly thought out, with a compact dining area that folds away when not in use and a stylish, efficient kitchenette. Featuring a two-burner gas hob with extractor, a sink, microwave, and well-planned storage via overhead cupboards and shelving, the space is perfect for whipping up a hearty Welsh breakfast or evening meal. You can choose to dine inside or step outside and take in the beautiful surroundings from the outdoor seating area.
A sleek and practical wash room completes the pod, offering a generous shower enclosure, modern dual-flush WC, heated towel rail, and ample storage space. A vanity unit with sink, large cupboard, extractor fan, and window ensure the bathroom is both functional and fresh, while still in keeping with the pod’s modern, cosy feel.
Adding an extra touch of magic to your stay, the site is also home to a small group of friendly alpacas. These gentle and curious animals are sure to bring a smile to both little ones and adults alike, making your visit even more memorable.

A unique cosy little pod tucked away in a few trees in the Heart of Mid Wales. The Fox Den is the perfect getaway for a family of 4. It really does use all the space well, sit back and relax with a good book, whilst the children use the fenced area around the pod to play. A small kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook up good welsh breakfast or an evening meal to enjoy in your cabin or on the outdoor seating area whilst taking in the Welsh Scenery.
Perfect for cosy evenings in, the efficient TV unit contains a mini fridge and storage, and you can kick back and relax on the two sofas, one with storage underneath which also pulls out to a single bed, and one which transforms into an innovative pull-down bed.
For further sleeping space, there's also a fixed high-level child's bunk with removable ladder in the living area, and a dining area is created with a foldaway table.
The convenient kitchenette includes a two-burner gas hob with extractor, sink and microwave with shelving, and additional storage is provided by overhead cupboards.
In the practical, yet stylish wash room, is a large shower enclosure, contemporary dual-flush WC, heated towel rail and shower socket, plus generous storage via a vanity cupboard with sink, and large cupboard. A window lets in natural light, and an extractor fan keeps everything fresh and dry.

Lovely accommodation for a couple, couldn’t fault it for the cost. Only downfall would be the tv not working but other than that great value for money.
