Meeting grant the warden he was so friendly and made us feel so welcome we could clearly see that he thrived on making everyone feel welcome and it was a pleasure to stay in a cosy, clean and comfortable lodge we will definitely be back soon, thankyou so much grant. From Laura and kev enjoy your 🎂.

Had a problem with oven grill tripping the electrics but response time after report was instant.. well done guys.Suggestion for net curtains especially in bedroom window as it overlooks the next lodge- no privacy when window is opened for fresh air in hot weather.Otherwise excellent layout and fittings

Stayed here for a birthday weekend, was hesitant due to past reviews but I must say we were massively impressed, there were no flies (possibly due to time of year) the lodge was spotless, heating was on when we got there, had no issues whatsoever, the warden greeted us and let us know if we need any...
Only a couple snagging points really
* sofa could do with being replaced as it is literally just springs( wouldn’t recommend for 4 people as it is barely sitable Nevermind sleepable)
* Hot tub and bathroom had a strange smell, got used to it after a while but couldn’t work it out
* Hot tub wasn’t 1...
