The former fishing village of Armação de Pêra is today a popular holiday resort not only because of two beautiful beaches (Praia de Armação de Pêra and Praia Grande de Pêra), but also because of its lively promenade with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars which attracts many visitors from all over the world.

Nevertheless, you can still experience the authentic charm of the Algarve if you get off the beaten tourist track. The beautiful sandy beach Praia de Armação de Pêra is only 7 minutes walking distance (550 m), so close that you can even go there spontaneously in the evening for a short walk. The international airport of Faro can be reached by car in 38 minutes or 52 km. Parking spaces are available on the road.
