The cosy apartment “Ferienwohnung Sauermann” is situated in a quiet area just outside of Markdorf and serves as an ideal starting point for shore excursions around Lake Constance. The 55 m² apartment in the souterrain consists of a living room with a sofa bed and a dinner table, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and coffee machine, a bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a television and a baby cot. For children up to 15 years an additional guest couch can be provided on request. The apartment has a balcony with a little table and chairs for you to have breakfast in the sunshine. Within 5 minutes walking distance you will also reach a new bakery-café, where you can get delicious rolls for breakfast. A supermarket is a 4-minute drive (2.3 km) away, while restaurants, a pharmacy and the train station are a 7-minute drive (3 km) from the apartment, in the centre of Markdorf. You will reach the closest beach of Lake Constance after 9 km or a 13-minute drive to the little town of Immenstaad. Here you can take refreshing swims in the clear blue water and enjoy the wonderful panorama with views of the Swiss Alps. After 14 km or a 19-minute drive to the ferry terminal in Meersburg, you can cross the lake to Konstanz. The city is famous for its picturesque old town centre with historical buildings and a medieval cathedral. The pretty lakeside town of Friedrichshafen is a 14-minute train ride away, where you can stroll about the lovely promenades and visit the Zeppelin museum. A zoo, Affenberg Salem, is 18.6 km or a 24-minute drive west of the apartment. The beautiful Lake Constance region offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling.
